One of the few Marseille stays where you walk from the lobby to the Orange Vélodrome in minutes, yet reach the city center by metro in about 15 minutes.
The hotel sits in the 8th, beside the stadium and a modern mall. Marseille Chanot convention center is an easy walk. The metro and buses are close, with direct links toward beaches and St‑Charles. Rooms feel clean and modern, with good beds and space to unpack. Several look toward the stadium. Minibars include free soft drinks, a small but welcome touch. Note the layout: glass doors on toilets and sinks set outside the bathroom in some rooms.
For match days and concerts, this place is hard to beat. You can head out just before kickoff, then be back at the bar or the little terrace soon after. There is a small outdoor pool with a few loungers for a quick dip. Staff handle bag storage and early departures with care. It suits sports fans, conference delegates, and families who want a calmer base away from the Old Port bustle.
Tradeoff: the stadium area feels more event‑focused than charming. On big nights it draws crowds, and the pool is small, so loungers fill fast.
Pros
- Right next to Orange Vélodrome; ideal for matches and concerts.
- About 15 minutes by metro to the city center.
- Modern, spacious rooms; some with stadium views and free minibar drinks.
- Small outdoor pool with sun loungers for afternoon breaks.
Cons
- Far from the Vieux Port; neighborhood lacks old-town charm.
- Pool is small with limited loungers; spots go early.
- Glass-door bathrooms and external sinks reduce privacy in some rooms.

On match night I left the lobby and reached the Vélodrome in minutes. Cracked open the free minibar sodas after—perfect cool-down.
